DEVELOPMENTAL TEAMS
 

WHAT ARE THE DEVELOPMENTAL TEAMS?

• This program offers the perfect first step into the world of travel volleyball without the demanding schedule of more advanced club teams and price point.
• Our program focuses on age-appropriate skill development, teamwork, coordination, and confidence-building in a fun and inclusive environment.
• This program offers light travel exposure, making it ideal for families and young athletes new to the club volleyball scene. No experience is necessary just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
• Teams can practice one or two days per week depending on the level and age group of the team. practices are generally 1.5 hours, players are also able to attend other clinics in the club for more skill development!
• Our program also works to allow mentorship opportunities for our older players to attend practices and even attend tournaments to show support to our developmental players.
• Season is generally 12-14 weeks depending on team level and age beginning in late November or early December.

TEAM OPPORTUNITIES:

• The Pearls (Ages 7–10) – Practice once per week for 12 weeks
• Diamonds (Age 12 ) – our second level team for beginner or lower novice players. Practice once per week for 14 weeks, beginning in November with one local tournament a month (Jan-March) WAITLIST ONLY, PLEASE EMAIL NICKI THOMPSON AT NRVDEVELOPMENTAL@GMAIL.COM
• Amethyst (Ages 12, 13 and 14) – our first teams generally for players who have some experience. Practice twice per week for 14 weeks, beginning in November with one local tournament a month (Jan-March). • NEWLY ADDED on 10/24 ! HYBRID DIAMOND 13'S TEAM (for 11-13s) WHICH WILL BE AN 8 WEEK SEASON RUNNING FROM NOVEMBER 24TH TIL JANUARY 18TH NOW AVAILABLE FOR 12 PLAYERS.

TEAM FEES:

• The Pearls $600.00: (includes uniform top, spandex and 2 NRV t-shirts and practice fees)
• Diamond level teams: $700 (includes uniform top, spandex, 2 NRV t-shirts and tournament/practice fees)
• Amethyst level teams: $800 (includes uniform top, spandex, 2 NRV t-shirts and tournament/practice fees). 14 Amethyst may be higher due to one overnight tournament.
• NEW, ADDED 10/24! Hybrid/Accelerated Developmental 13 Diamonds Team: $600.00 (includes uniform top, spandex, 1 NRV t shirt, 1 two day tournament and 14 practices)

PAYMENT OPTIONS/SCHEDULE:

• The Pearls: $125.00 deposit and 4 payment installments beginning in September.
• Diamonds/HYBRID: $150.00 deposit and 4 payment installments beginning in September.
• Amethyst: $150.00 deposit and 4 payment installments beginning in September.

*ALTERNATE PAYMENT PLANS CAN BE ARRANGED TO ACCOMMODATE FINANCIAL NEEDS. FULL PAYMENT IS ALSO OPTIONAL.*

PLAYER PLACEMENT DAY IS OCTOBER 19TH:

• All players will be given a preference at signup of team they prefer based on practices and experience. 
• All players will attend a placement day for our developmental coaches to evaluate skill level to help with placing players on teams of similar skill level.
• If you do not wish to play on a team that practices more than once per week that is still an option at signup.
• Pearls players do not attend placement day.

OTHER INFORMATION:

• Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all player information is accurate and current. 

The following will be information needed for complete registration:

• USAV Medical Waiver information

• Demographic information including player birth day, grade, address

• Player/Parent contact information including email and phone number

• Acknowledgement of participation waiver

To complete player registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or ACH Bank Account information available.

REGISTRATIONS ARE NONREFUNDABLE UNLESS UNABLE TO PHYSICALLY PARTICIPATE DUE TO AN INJURY THAT HAS BEEN DOCUMENTED BY A PHYSICIAN.

New Users: Use the Create An Account option with a valid parent or guardian email address below.

Current or Previous Users: Players who currently are or have had a SportsEngine Account linked to your family or personal email address please use that to sign in and register for tryouts. SE allows multiple family members to be linked under one email address, this allows for one sign in/ log in and easy management of all players participating in the same family.

Tryout registration is designed to be completed by the parent or guardian of the player registering for tryouts. If selected for a team your SE account will be used to accept your roster position as well as complete your USAV Membership at a later date. All players will be required to have a Sports Engine account for the 2022 season which will be utilized as a main source of information, paperwork and possibly player fees for Next Revolution Volleyball.
